Maureen Fleming Waters of Immortality
Creating images of sculptural transcendence, Maureen Fleming celebrates the feminine archetype in excerpts of her work Waters of Immortatlity set to Piano Etude # 5 by Philip Glass. The video is by Odo with special effects by Kwan Woo Lee.
This work is an excerpt of an evening length work inspired by the poetry of W.B. Yeats and was created during Maureen Fleming's Fulbright Commission at the Seoul Institute for the Arts. Waters of Immortality is a National Performance Network Co-Commission between The Flynn Center for the Performing Arts and World Music/CRASHarts.
